July 7, 2011 Lake Dillon Level Getting Close to the Full Level

July 7, 2011 - The high release downstream from the Lake from the deep snow pack is continuing and is expected to continue for several weeks. The Lake level is moving up and is within 2.5 feet of being full and the water going over the spillway at the Glory Hole. The water being released downstreem is 1,748 cfs which is great for white water rafting. The marinas and water taxi are in full operation and have been for over a week. The water level is now at 9,014.55 feet altitude which is 2.5 feet below the full mark of 9,017 feet.
