Oct 25, 2010 - Arapahoe Basin Ski Area Opened today.
Arapahoe Basin reports 10 inches of snow in the last 3 days and a 18 inch mid-mountain base and opens at 9am This Morning. Keystone Ski Resort and Copper Mountain Ski Resorts opening days are planned for Nov 5. Breckenridge Ski Resort plans to open Nov 12 targeted. These dates are similar to opening dates in the past.

Loveland is reporting 8 inches of snow in the last 24 hours with an 18 inch base for their opening day at 9am this morning. Keystone Ski Resort and Copper Mountain Ski Resorts opening days are planned for Nov 5. Breckenridge Ski Resort plans to open Nov 12 targeted. These dates are similar to opening dates in the past.

May 25, 2010 Lake Dillon is Full - Water Flowing over Spillway

May 25, 2010 - The water is overflowing the Lake Dillon (Dillon Reservoir) spillway. The Glory Hole is the name for the spillway and an alternative path that water flows into the Blue River below the Lake Dillon Dam from the lake. The other path is through the gates at the bottom of the dam. Good levels of Spring moisture and snow melt have kept the level of the dam high and filled it completely this morning. The ice totally melted on the lake earlier this week.

May 17, 2010 - The Ice Melt Clock from the Rotary fell over on Sunday afternoon. The lake is getting close to being mostly melted and the Ice melt Clock is on one of the last ice flows on the lake which are over the deepest parts of the lake.

Feb 16, 2010, Tue - Summit County resorts are reporting more champaign powder for each of the past 4 days. The 4 day totals: Breckenridge with 23 inches, Copper Mountain with 14 inches, Keystone with 8 inches and Arapahoe Basin with 7 inches new powder. Loveland Basin also has 11 inches new snow and Ski Cooper 9 inches new powder.
